Campaign Update

We are honored to have exceeded the $150 million monetary goal of the campaign. Even with this great success, we are not finished.
In this final year of the campaign, we are focused, as always, on sustainable funding for ongoing operations and on securing full funding for three priority capital projects: earthquake repairs, organ renovation, and upgrades to the nave audio and broadcast system. learn more

Budget constraints have prevented us from completing extensive earthquake repair and restoration work and other capital improvements. Thanks to a generous match from the Lilly Endowment, all gifts to the earthquake will be doubled until November 1, 2024. To preserve this treasure for future generations, we must shore up the Cathedral’s physical and financial foundations.

Priority Capital Projects

One year remains to fully fund three important capital projects while continuing to raise needed operating funding for ongoing ministries.

Restoring a Masterpiece

Restoration continues following the earthquake of 2011, incorporating technological and structural advances to ensure the Cathedral will be a stronger and more resilient structure. Our stone masons, who are national leaders in their disappearing craft, are experts at repairing and creating damaged pinnacles and other stone elements.
